Green Gems International School (GGIS) was established in January 1991. It is in fact one of the earliest English Medium Private English Medium Schools in Dhanmondi.

The school has been following academic Curriculum of Edexcel International, UK for IGCSE & A Level. Besides, Green Gems is following now Cambridge Curriculum for Primary, Lower Secondary, GCE O Level & GCE AS/A Level.
