Colors Week Celebration 2025–2026 at Green Gems International School

Learning becomes magical when it’s filled with colors, laughter, and creativity — and that’s exactly what our Playgroup and Nursery students experienced during Colors Week at Green Gems International School!

To make learning more joyful and experiential, Green Gems International School organized a week-long celebration called “Colors Week”, where every day was dedicated to exploring a new color through creative activities, fun games, and hands-on learning. The event aimed to enhance color recognition, sensory development, and emotional awareness among our youngest learners, all while making school an exciting place to be.

🎨 A Week of Colors, Curiosity, and Creativity

The Colors Week Celebration was a five-day learning journey — each day bursting with excitement and joy. Students from Playgroup and Nursery came dressed in cheerful outfits based on the day’s theme color. From classroom decorations to art activities, everything reflected that day’s hue — transforming each corner of Green Gems International School into a vibrant learning space.

❤️ Red Day – The Color of Energy and Love

The week began with Red Day, a lively start full of passion and excitement. Children arrived in bright red attire and explored the world of red through fun activities — identifying red fruits like apples and strawberries, creating red-themed crafts, and decorating their classroom with red balloons and paper cutouts.

💙 Blue Day – The Calm and Cool Shade

Next came Blue Day, representing serenity and peace. Classrooms turned into blue wonderlands filled with ocean-inspired decorations, sky drawings, and cool blue balloons. Students learned to recognize blue objects in their surroundings while participating in water-based and creative craft activities that encouraged fine motor skills.

💛 Yellow Day – The Sunshine of Happiness

Yellow Day brought brightness and cheer to the classrooms! Our little learners came dressed in sunny yellow, learning about objects like the sun, bananas, sunflowers, and smiley faces. Teachers guided them through coloring, storytelling, and singing activities centered around this joyful color, encouraging positivity and confidence.

🧡 Orange Day – The Color of Creativity and Energy

On Orange Day, students explored the vibrant color of enthusiasm and creativity. They identified orange fruits, vegetables, and everyday items through games and art. The classrooms were filled with orange balloons and posters, while the children’s laughter made the day even brighter.

💚 Green Day – The Color of Nature and Growth

The week ended beautifully with Green Day, celebrating freshness, nature, and new beginnings. Dressed in green outfits, our young learners learned about plants, trees, and vegetables — understanding the importance of greenery in our lives. Teachers introduced fun planting activities and nature-themed crafts to make the day educational and meaningful.
