Plot
Three women are trapped in an apartment in Marseille due to a heat wave. Temperatures are rising in the south of France, the air is boiling in Marseille, people are advised to stay indoors and enjoy each other’s company.
They would never stop on the balcony that night
However, Denise is fed up with the company of her abusive husband, who is always hungry, and she stabs him with a hoe and then strangles him to death on the balcony. This is how the story begins, but Denise is not the main character: the story revolves around three young women, Nicole, Ruby and Elise, who decide to stay with Nicole for a while.

The film is Noémie Merlant’s directorial debut, and she does it with strength. She is not afraid to combine all the film genres available, such as adventure, romance, thriller, drama, comedy, etc.
